Lithuania midfielder Saulius Mikoliunas has been suspended for two games.

Midfielder suspended for diving

Saulius Mikoliunas has been suspended for two games after Uefa found him guilty of deliberately conning the referee during Lithuania's defeat to Scotland earlier this month. The midfielder won a penalty for his country as he fell down in the area under pressure from Darren Fletcher, although replays showed there was no contact. Uefa charged the Hearts man with misconduct after reviewing video evidence of the incident. And it has now been confirmed that he will miss Lithuania's next two Euro 2008 qualifiers. Lithuania, who went on to lose 3-1 to Scotland, face France next month and Ukraine in November.
