Bristol City have recalled goalkeeper Chris Weale from his loan spell at Hereford United.
Weale joined the League Two club on a month-long deal last week and played in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Rotherham United.
But City's No.1 Adriano Basso suffered an injury during his side's 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers and was replaced at half-time by Stephen Henderson.
Basso has been ruled out of Tuesday's Carling Cup tie with Brentford, prompting City boss Gary Johnson to summon Weale back to Ashton Gate.
"Adriano felt alright this morning and we took him training, but as soon as he ran out on to the pitch he felt the injury," Johnson told the club's official website.
"So we've recalled Chris Weale from Hereford and it's only right that your senior keeper plays in goal, so Chris will play at Brentford.
"Stephen Henderson did fantastic on Saturday, and at the age of 19 we know he's got potential, but he's also suffering with a bit of back pain anyway.
"Chris played for Hereford on Saturday and kept a clean sheet, so he'll start and Stephen will be on the bench for the cup game."
