New boy suffers broken leg
Queens Park Rangers' worst fears have been confirmed with the news that Simon Walton has broken his leg.
The summer signing from Charlton picked up the injury during QPR's friendly win over Fulham at Loftus Road on Friday.
Walton now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with the leg injury.
Rangers boss John Gregory has backed Walton to make a quick recovery from the injury.
"It appears he's broken his leg, but we're waiting on the X-rays and we should know more in the next 48 hours or so," Gregory told the club's official website.
