Sky Sports understands a host of Europe's top guns are tracking Watford's teenage starlet Xane Zaineddine.

Zaineddine, who was born in Australia, is highly-regarded within the corridors of power at Watford after joining the club last year.

The 15-year-old moved to Watford after his parents relocated from Australia to London; he was also offered a place at the academies of Barcelona and AC Milan prior to his move to Watford.

The exciting attacker, who can play up front or anywhere across midfield, has caught the eye of scouts across Europe following some impressive performances for Watford's Under 16s this season.

Zaineddine is the top scorer for the Under 16s and has also created the most assists so far this term and his talents have alerted most of Europe's big clubs.

All of the Premier League's top sides along with Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Sporting Lisbon are all keeping tabs on Zaineddine's progress.

Watford are determined to keep hold of the prodigious talent, but are aware they would likely receive only minimal training compensation if he were to leave as Zaineddine has only been at the club for the last 18 months.
