Milan and Genoa finalise a number of deals

AC Milan have completed the signing of Genoa defender Francesco Acerbi. The 24-year-old has agreed a five-year deal with the Rossoneri, who are reported to have paid around €4million for his services. Acerbi arrives in a complex deal which sees two other moves completed - including one which means Chievo Verona have taken Alberto Paloschi on a full transfer. Chievo owned half of Acerbi, who spent last season on loan at the club, but they sold that to Genoa in order for the move to Milan to go through and in return they have got Paloschi.

Constant

Kevin Constant has joined Milan, also from Genoa, in a loan move for the season. The deal for Constant has come out of the blue, but was done after Sulley Muntari suffered cruciate ligament damage while on international duty with Ghana and was ruled out for six months. Genoa and Milan have also agreed a number of other deals for players they co-owned. Matteo Chinellato, Stephan El Shaarawy and Pele Tuncara Gomes will stay with Milan, whilst Alexander Merkel and Nicola Pasini will stay with Genoa. Meanwhile, Genoa are understood to have agreed a deal with Siena to take Mattia Destro back to the club - but instead of keeping him they are to sell him, with Inter Milan and Juventus keen.
