Watford have brought in Birmingham City's highly-rated midfielder Jordon Mutch on a one-month youth loan deal.
Mutch had spells at Hereford United and Doncaster Rovers last season and has now linked up for another stint in the Championship with Watford.
He could be involved in Saturday's game against Coventry City and is looking forward to his time at Vicarage Road.
"I gained good experience at Doncaster, where I spent the second half of last season, and hopefully this is another good opportunity for me to play first-team football," the 18-year-old Birmingham's official website.
"Depending on how well I do there, it's up to the manager if the deal is to be extended."
Birmingham's Academy manager Terry Westley added: "Jordon has to keep pushing and pushing until he can break into the team.
"For him to go away to Watford for a month and play first-team football in the Championship at 18 years of age is where he needs to be.
"He needs to play at a good level and learn his trade and then come back here and be ready for first-team football."
