A compensation package has been agreed by Watford and Carlisle over the transfer of defender Tom Aldred.
The 19-year-old completed his switch to the Hornets two weeks ago and the clubs have since been negotiating a fee.
Aldred turned down a contract extension with the Cumbrians, but because he is under 24, the club were due compensation.
And Watford have confirmed that an undisclosed fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
"Watford can confirm that they have agreed a compensation package for an undisclosed fee with Carlisle United for defender Tom Aldred," said the Hornets in a statement.
"This therefore means that both clubs avoid taking the matter to a tribunal."
