Marvin Sordell is not worrying about his long-term future at Watford after extending his loan spell at Tranmere Rovers.
The teenage striker extended his stint at Tranmere for a second month earlier this week after scoring once in five appearances to date.
He featured four times for Watford at the start of the season and his contract with the Championship club expires in the summer.
However, rather than fret about whether he will be offered fresh terms at Vicarage Road, Sordell is concentrating on Tranmere's battle to stay in League One.
"To be honest, if you are playing well then contracts will sort themselves out," the 19-year-old told the Watford Observer.
"Obviously I know my contract is up at the end of the season, but it is not something that plays on my mind.
"The most important thing is I am out on loan at Tranmere and we are playing in a relegation battle, so I cannot let my mind wander and have to be focused on playing, scoring goals for the team and getting points for them."
