Tranmere have reached an agreement with Watford to keep striker Marvin Sordell on loan for a further month.

The 19-year-old joined Tranmere in February from the Hornets and has made five appearances, scoring in the 2-1 win over Leyton Orient last month.

Sordell will now go into the squad for Tranmere's home game against Southampton this Saturday.

Tranmere boss Les Parry said: "Marvin has done well for us so far and I'm pleased to keep him here for another month.

"He has improved game by game and hopefully his goal against Leyton Orient will be the first of many he will score for us.

"I'd like to thank Watford manager Malky Mackay for allowing Marvin to stay with us."
