Five Walsall players have agreed new contracts to stay with the club for next season. Clayton Ince, Manny Smith, Rene Gilmartin, Chris Palmer and Netan Sansara were offered new deals at the end of the season after impressing manager Chris Hutchings. They have now committed their futures to the Saddlers, who finished 13th in League One in 2008/9. Chief executive Roy Whalley is thrilled to secure all the players, who offer a good blend of youth and experience. "We are delighted that Clayton, Manny, Rene, Chris and Netan have agreed new contracts," Whalley told the club's official website. "Clayton and Chris are both experienced players while Manny, Rene and Netan are very exciting prospects who I'm sure will be looking to secure a place in Chris Hutchings' starting XI next season."
