Striker joins on loan from Watford

Watford striker Liam Henderson has joined Hartlepool on a three-month loan deal. The 19-year-old has made six appearances for the Hornets but they have all come as a substitute. He started his career as a youngster on Pools' books and the League One club have been keeping tabs on his progress. Henderson impressed during a short loan spell at Wealdstone last season and will be looking to do well for Pools before he returns to Vicarage Road in mid-April. Director of sport Chris Turner told the club's official website: "Liam comes highly recommended to us - he's a player who used to be at Hartlepool and was poached by Watford away from our Centre of Excellence. "He has done extremely well down at Watford and when the opportunity came for us to have a look at him, we quickly took it. "Liam has played in the Championship and we are going to take a look at him over the next three months."
