Hornets reluctant to let trio leave

Aidy Boothroyd has played down reports linking three members of his squad with loan moves away from Watford. Damien Francis, Mart Poom and Jobi McAnuff have been linked with Ipswich, Coventry and Crystal Palace respectively. However, Boothroyd insists he has no intention of letting the experienced trio leave Vicarage Road during the current loan window. Asked whether there was any substance in the latest round of rumours, the Hornets boss told the Watford Observer: "Nothing at all. Obviously the deadline's gone and there's not much to write about. "There's nothing in that. Nobody's made any contact with me. "There's no point in other people having them on loan if we can use them."
