Stockport boss Jim Gannon is keen to keep Dominic Blizzard at the club until the end of the season.
Blizzard joined on loan from Watford earlier this month and has helped The Hatters climb the League Two table and break Football League records in the process.
The midfielder has made four appearances since linking up with Gannon's side and his manager has been thoroughly impressed.
He now hopes to be extend the midfielder's loan deal for the remainder of the campaign as Stockport bid for promotion.
"We knew what we would get from him from all the reports we had," Gannon told the club's official website.
"He does all the defensive work in midfield, shields, tackles and then effortlessly gives it simple.
"With every game that he plays he seems to grow in stature.
"We are able to extend his loan deal until the end of the season and we are looking to do that.
"He is in a team which is winning and breaking records so obviously he is happy to stay here."
