Watford defender Clarke Carlisle has returned to full training after almost ten months on the sidelines.
Carlisle has yet to feature for The Hornets in the Premiership as a thigh problem has kept him out of action since April.
The 27-year-old's recovery is nearing an end, with all that is left is the need to get some games under his belt playing for the reserves.
Carlisle hopes to be able to play a part for Adrian Boothroyd's men in the not too distant future.
"The rehabilitation is coming on very well - I'm back in full training with the lads," Carlisle told the club's official website.
"I'll hopefully get a couple of games for the reserves and then I'll be ready.
"I would like to get back as soon as possible, it's been such a long haul. I'm just desperate to get back into the side.
"It's been unbelievably frustrating."
