Jay DeMerit has revealed that he will listen to offers if Watford are relegated from the Premiership.
The American defender has been one of Watford's better players this term, but he is concerned by the club's current plight.
Watford are rooted to the foot of the table, seven points adrift of fourth-bottom Wigan, and DeMerit is not prepared to turn his back on the Premiership.
"I hope we can stay up but it's out of my hands," DeMerit told the Sun. "If there are Premiership teams that would be interested of course I'd talk to them."
DeMerit played a key part in Watford's climb to the Premiership last term, scoring in the play-off win over Leeds, and signed a new deal in the summer.
