Hameur Bouazza has told skysports.com that he expects to be out for a month with a shoulder injury.

The forward dislocated his shoulder during Watford's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal on Boxing Day.

He has returned to France to start his rehabilitation and early February appears to be a likely return date for Bouazza.

"I was injured 30 minutes from the end after a collision with Kolo Toure," Bouazza told skysports.com.

"I have already suffered the same shoulder injury two years ago, so I think I will be sidelined for four to five weeks.

"I come back to France today, so it is a bad thing for a good thing."

A late Robin van Persie goal condemned Watford to defeat against Arsenal, but Bouazza felt the Premiership's bottom club acquitted themselves well at Vicarage Road.

He added: "We played a super first half against a magnificent team.

"Arsenal are a team that play very well, use the midfield and try to score superb goals.

"But I think that we have annoyed them a lot. We have had a few chances to score.

"Losing 2-1 against the third club in the league can be considered a good performance, but we deserved better and a draw would have been normal."
