Watford defender Jay DeMerit has challenged the club's forwards to find their form quickly to get them out of trouble.
The Hornets failed to find the net for a third successive game on Saturday after a goalless draw at home to Reading.
Watford have struggled in front of goal this term and the injury to Marlon King has further limited their options.
DeMerit has admitted it is frustrating that his side can not turn draws into victories and he hopes the team's strikers can find their scoring boots to help them climb away from trouble.
"It is a frustrating thing," DeMerit said. "The forwards need to make sure that the next time they get a chance, they score.
"We need victories, and we need them quickly. As a defender, you can feel the pressure mounting when your team miss a couple of chances, and all of a sudden the opposition have three or four chances.
"In the situation, you have to hold out. I suppose we don't mind a bit of pressure at the back, as long as we keep doing what we are doing now."
