Richard Lee is loving life in the Premiership having been given his chance at Watford courtesy of Ben Foster's injury.

Manchester United goalkeeper Foster had established himself as the club's NO.1 since arriving at Vicarage Road on-loan, stealing the plaudits for a series of immaculate displays.

However, a knee injury has curtailed his involvement and Lee has not wasted his opportunity for first team football, having impressed in keeping a clean sheet against Manchester City on Monday.

Lee insists that while he would never wish Foster ill-luck, he has no intention of relinquishing his place without a fight.

"You don't really have rotation with goalkeepers and a couple of weeks ago, it looked as though I would be on the bench for the duration," said Lee.

"I have no problem with Ben because he has been fantastic but it is a tough role because you are not getting games and you are not getting a run in the team.

"But then Ben picked up a niggle, which has given me a chance. All I can do now is show the manager what I can do because playing in the Premier League is a dream come true."
