Watford defender Chris Powell has been sidelined for the next three weeks with a calf injury.
The 37-year-old picked up the knock during training prior to the game against Bolton on Saturday.
Powell missed the trip to The Reebok Stadium but is now set to be forced to sit out the next three weeks in order to allow the injury to heal.
Jordon Stewart, who filled in at left back at the weekend, is set for an extended spell in the side and will be hoping to win back the role on a permanent basis.
Meanwhile, young goalkeeper Scott Loach is set to be out until December after breaking a bone in his foot during training.
