Watford's red-hot striker Marlon King admits he is relishing the chance to prove himself again under Adrian Boothroyd.
Two more goals for King in The Hornets' 4-1 win at Sheffield United saw The Championship's Player of the Month for January score his 14th and 15th goals of the season and cement his position as the division's leading marksman.
All of which is a far cry from King's failure to make an impression at Nottingham Forest and Leeds but, newly-invigorated, the former Gillingham man is capitalising on an extended first team run at the high-flying Hornets.
"Obviously I had a little bit of a blip but it's always important to be playing first and foremost and enjoying it as well which is exactly what I'm doing," King told Sky Sports News.
"The club gave me the chance to put me back on the board and hopefully I'm repaying them."
Monday's superb win at Bramall Lane saw The Hornets climb to third and it is that form that has made King believe that promotion to the top flight is a very real possibility.
"Everyone wants to play in The Premiership - I'm not going to lie to you," added King.
"We are going for it this season and I don't think there's a better season to go for it because, bar Reading, nobody's running away with the league.
"We'll just enjoy ourselves and see where it takes us."
