Watford's Anthony McNamee has penned a two-year contract extension.
Watford winger Anthony McNamee has been rewarded for his impressive start to the new campaign with a two-year contract extension.
The 22-year-old only penned a 12-month extension last term, but his performances this season have prompted the club to offer improved terms.
McNamee is delighted to pen another deal with the Vicarage Road outfit and is now looking to cement his place in manager Adrian Boothroyd's side.
"I'm very happy - I didn't think it would come so soon but I'm delighted," McNamee told the club's official website.
"I was pleased to get a one-year extension last year because I didn't get in the team much, but the gaffer's been great - I enjoy working with him and he's shown a lot of faith in me.
"There is more pressure on me now and I need to maintain the level of performance that I've shown to make sure I stay in the team.
"As for targets this year, I'd like to score more goals but I also want to play more games - so I'll go for playing games first and hopefully the goals will come."
