Heidar Helguson and Hameur Bouazza scored as Watford fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point against Ipswich.

Ian Westlake and Darren Bent netted for Town, who would have scored more but for a fine display from Hornets keeper Richard Lee.

He made a brilliant stop in the 11th minute to turn Tommy Miller's volley past the post and a point-blank block from Shefki Kuqi 10 minutes later.

After Helguson headed straight at Ipswich keeper Lewis Price, Bent drew two saves from Lee, who ended the first half with a superb double save from Bent and Kuqi.

Ipswich finally broke the deadlock in the 50th minute when Price's goal kick ran through to Westlake, whose powerful strike beat Lee.

Bent was denied twice more before he lashed home his second of the season on 63, with Westlake the provider.

But it proved the catalyst to a Watford comeback as Helguson headed in Neal Ardley's corner and substitute Bouazza was first to react when Price spilled an Ardley shot.

The French forward even came close to a late winner but Canadian Jason de Vos cleared his effort off the line.
