It has been reported that Watford have made a bid for West Brom defender James Chambers.
The former England Youth international recently returned to The Baggies following a loan spell at Vicarage Road.
It is understood that West Brom are willing to sell the player but are not interested in another loan deal, forcing Watford manager Ray Lewington into action.
Chambers made 27 appearances for the West Brom side that reached the play-offs in 2000/01 season but has struggled since, starting only 15 league games.
