Carlisle loanee Raphael Spiegel has returned to parent club West Ham after his agreement with the League Two club expired.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper arrived at the League Two club on an emergency one-month loan in February and made two appearances for the Cumbrians. "Raphael enjoyed his time here and we enjoyed having him here with us," said Carlisle goalkeeper coach Tony Caig. "I know he gained a lot from being with the first team and he showed a desire and determination from day one to learn, work hard and improve. "If he takes that attitude with him going forward he will not go too far wrong." Spiegel, yet to make his Hammers debut , had previous loan spells at Crawley and Barnet earlier this season.
