Dan Potts is back at West Ham after concluding his loan spell with League Two club Portsmouth.
The 19-year-old left-back made five appearances for Pompey after moving to Fratton Park last month. But he did not appear in Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Bristol Rovers as new boss Richie Barker wanted to look at how Marcos Painter performed at the back. Barker explained: "Potts is going back and I had to make a decision on people who were going to be here this week."
