Jason Brown and George McCartney are staying at Elland Road a little longer after Leeds United extended their loans. Blackburn keeper Brown will be staying an additional month while McCartney's loan has been extended by two days. Brown made his Whites debut off the bench against Ipswich on Saturday after back-up keeper Shane Higgs damaged his hamstring. Higgs was only featuring with No.1 Kasper Schmeichel sidelined so now Brown could be given a run by Leeds manager Simon Grayson. McCartney's loan was due to on 23rd October, but with Leeds' game against Cardiff now on Monday night the club have moved to extend his loan to ensure he is available to play against their Championship rivals.
