Sky Sports understands Alessandro Diamanti is discussing personal terms with Brescia.
The West Ham striker moved to Upton Park from Livorno last summer and proved a hit with Hammers fans as he scored seven top flight goals to help keep Gianfranco Zola's side up.
But with Avram Grant now at the helm the 27-year-old seems surplus to requirements, with just one substitute start this term.
The striker was linked with a move back to Serie A with Fiorentina earlier in the summer and now seems to be heading to Brescia instead.
Sky Sports News understands that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs and that Diamanti is now discussing personal terms.
