West Ham star Yossi Benayoun has rejected reports of a bust-up with Alan Pardew.
Reports suggested Benayoun was unhappy at being left out of the squad to face Everton on Sunday.
However, Benayoun claims he has not made the trip to Merseyside because of an injury he picked up in training.
"I got a tackle in training on Friday and hurt the same place which has given me trouble most of this season," Benayoun told the News of the World.
"I spoke to the doctor and he said it was best if I had a few days' rest.
"It's normal if you're injured not to travel but if the manager tells me to go I would.
"If someone says I'm on strike they are trying to make problems - they are jealous or don't want me at the club."
The Israeli international also slammed suggestions that he was looking to quit Upton Park.
"I don't know of a player who is happy to be left out," added Benayoun.
"People who say I'm trying to get away don't know what they're talking about."
