Tranquillo Barnetta's agent has played down talk linking the Swiss ace with a move to West Ham.
Reports on Wednesday claimed West Ham were lining up a move for the Bayer Leverkusen winger following his showings at the World Cup.
Barnetta enjoyed a successful World Cup with Switzerland and he was short-listed for the Fifa World Cup Young Player of the tournament award.
His performances in Germany caught the attention of a host of clubs with several sides from Spain, England and France expressing an interest in him.
Barnetta's representative Wolfgang Voege admitted there was a great deal of interest in the midfielder, but that Bayer Leverkusen were determined to keep hold of him.
"Tranquillo has three years to run on his contract at Bayer Leverkusen and they do no want to let him go," Voege told skysports.com.
"I have not heard from anyone from West Ham, but there is interest in Tranquillo from all around Europe.
"I have had calls from Deportivo La Coruna, Lyon and other German clubs as well as English sides, but Bayer Leverkusen do not want to do business.
"I have spoken to Bayer Leverkusen and they have told me he is not for sale.
"Tranquillo is happy at Bayer, but he is still young and has time on his side before moving on."
