West Ham captain Nigel Reo-Coker is still hoping for a late call to the England squad.
The 21-year-old has had a phenomenal season for The Hammers and has led them to the FA Cup final.
Reo-Coker has yet to be called up by Sven Goran Eriksson, but he still holds a little hope for a place on the plane to Germany for the World Cup finals.
Eriksson is due to announce his provisional squad of 27 on Monday and some reports claim Reo-Coker has a chance.
"I've heard a few whispers that I could be in the squad of 27, but it's just rumours, nothing concrete," he admitted.
"My holidays are booked, but if I have to cancel them, I will.
"It would be great. I'd be lying if I told you I won't be disappointed if I don't make it.
"But everyone has their time to shine and I believe that eventually my time will come."
