Gers snap up Ashikodi

Rangers have signed striker Moses Ashikodi after a successful trial period.

Rangers have signed West Ham's England Under-19 international striker Moses Ashikodi after a successful trial period.

The 18-year-old began his career at Millwall before moving on to Upton Park and has also had a loan spell at Gillingham.

Now he hopes to take his chance in the Scottish Premier League after signing a contract until the end of the season.

"All the players and coaches have been great with me so I have settled in really well," he told the club's official website.

"Everyone down south knows that Rangers is a massive club and I am very proud to have signed until the end of the season.

"Hopefully, I can show everyone what I can do and I can stay longer but I know that I will need to work very hard and give my all in every match I play in and also in training.

"In Murray Park, Rangers has the best facility I have ever seen so it will be great to work here every day."
