Mullins targets Hammers success

West Ham midfielder Hayden Mullins believes that good times lie ahead at Upton Park.

West Ham midfielder Hayden Mullins believes that The Hammers are in The Premiership to stay.

The 26-year-old has been in fine form so far this season and sealed a four-year deal at Upton Park on Tuesday. Now he is talking up his team's chances of going from strength to strength.

"We always knew if we were given a run in The Premiership we would come into our own," Mullins told Sky Sports News.

"Hopefully we won't be one-year wonders and we'll be in this division for a long time," Mullins added.

"It's early days at the moment and none of the guys are getting carried away," he cautioned. "We're trying to take every week as it comes."

Mullins was also pleased to see the other promoted clubs make promising starts to their top-flight campaigns.

"We're doing really well at the moment, as are Wigan and Sunderland, who picked up a win and a point and are now doing well too."
