FABRIZIO RAVANELLI scored his first goal for Derby when they beat Flora Tallinn 2-0 in a friendly.

Tallinn fielded a weakened side with one eye on Thursday's Uefa Cup clash with Dinamo Zagreb, and Derby took full advantage as they cantered to victory.

Fellow signing Stefano Eranio grabbed The Rams other goal to secure their first win of a disappointing pre-season campaign.

West Ham United had to come from a goal down to see off League newcomers Rushden & Diamonds 3-1.

New signing Warren Patmore gave The Diamonds the lead after just four minutes, but Rigobert Song equalised for The Hammers after rounding Billy Turley in the Rushden goal.

Svetoslav Todorov gave The Hammers the lead shortly before half time when he fired home after seeing his initial effort saved by Turley, and Paul Kitson secured the win with a fierce drive 20 minutes from time.

Peter Taylor's Leicester side continued their good pre-season form when they beat Northampton 2-1 at Sixfields.

Robbie Savage opened the scoring with a powerful header after just 14 minutes, but the in-demand Jamie Forrester equalised soon after.

Dennis Wise impressed for The Foxes and set up the winner which was scored by Adi Akinbiyi.
