New Charlton boss Guy Luzon has been granted a work permit.
The 39-year-old Israeli was appointed as head coach at The Valley last week but was unable to take charge at Watford on Saturday as the paperwork had not come through.
First-team coach Damian Matthew and goalkeeping coach Ben Roberts instead assumed responsibility at Vicarage Road as the Addicks crashed to a 5-0 defeat.
Charlton confirmed the news on Twitter on Thursday afternoon, meaning Luzon can now take charge of the team for the first time when they head to Wolves on Saturday.
The Addicks have slipped to 16th in the Sky Bet Championship table following a run of eight games without a win which prompted the sacking of Bob Peeters.
