Striker Jason Euell is one of five players to be released ahead of Charlton's return to the Championship.
The veteran forward, once the Addicks' record signing, returned to The Valley last summer scoring twice in 16 appearances. Euell is joined by defender Gary Doherty, Mikel Alonso, Tosan Popo and Freddie Warren. The experienced Doherty, 32, ended the season on loan at Wycombe and made 52 appearances for Chris Powell's side. Goalkeeper Conor Gough has already been released - he featured for Bristol Rovers on the final day last weekend.
