Yeovil assistant manager Terry Skiverton praised his side's endeavours after a narrow 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Jonathan Obika gave the Glovers a 1-0 lead at the interval, but Jermaine Johnson and Reda Johnson turned matters round for Gary Megson's men. "I thought it was an excellent performance from us," said Skiverton. "Sheffield Wednesday have bullied a lot of teams but they didn't do that to us," he said. "We stood up to the test well and we can take positives from creating so many chances. In the first-half, we were excellent. I thought we stood up to the physical challenge that Sheffield Wednesday posed. "It was a well-worked goal with Ryan Dickson cutting in and slotting the ball through to Jon Obika, who produced an excellent finish. I felt that we really needed to take another chance in the first-half. Andy Williams went close with a couple. "We knew that they would be relentless in the way they'd try to attack us in the second-half with their strengths. I felt that (Jermaine) Johnson gave us a couple of warnings in the first-half, when he came inside onto his stronger right foot. We didn't quite get out to the ball when he scored and it was a fantastic goal."
