Haynes back to do a job

Danny Haynes has "unfinished business" after returning to Charlton after signing from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee on Friday.

The striker started his career in Charlton's youth team only to be released as a 16-year-old, but he is now back at The Valley. "It's good to be back. It feels like I've got unfinished business," Haynes, who will be 24 on Thursday, told the Addicks' official website. "As soon as I heard of the club's interest I was excited. I knew that I wanted to come back to London and Charlton is a place I wanted to be. I've watched the club from my school years and it's where I started my football career. "Hopefully I can come back and show people I am not going to go away that easily." Haynes, who was also a target for Millwall, has signed an 18-month contract with Charlton.
