Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell has dismissed speculation linking defender Michael Morrison with Celtic.
Hoops boss Neil Lennon was in the crowd at The Valley on Monday night to watch the Addicks beat Huddersfield 2-0.
But speaking ahead of Saturday's FA Cup meeting with Carlisle, Powell laughed off the reports, saying: "It's the silly season.
"He was obviously there for (Town's) Jordan Rhodes because he has just played for Scotland. One or two people will catch his eye and people will say 'January is coming and who is doing well'?
"I can't stop that because we are doing well and people will want to see what the fuss is about. Then they might see one, two or three of our players and think 'could he do a job higher up'?
"I can't stop that. All I can do is keep those players focused on what we are doing and keep them right for what sort of season we want to have."
