Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell admits he is delighted with his side's flying start to the League One season.
After a summer overhaul in which 19 players have joined the Addicks, with almost as many leaving the club, Powell's side top League One with six wins and two draws from their opening eight matches.
"We are in a good position after eight games," said Powell.
"It's still early, but it's good for everyone connected with the club that our confidence is good.
"I'm really pleased that away from home we have put down a marker and to get 12 points from our four games on the road is a fantastic feeling to have.
"If we can match our home form with that then we will be well on our way. There's a long way to go yet."
