Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Jose Semedo is delighted with how he has settled into life at the club.
The 26-year-old joined the Owls earlier this month after four years with League One rivals Charlton and made his second appearance in Tuesday's friendly win over Rotherham.
And the Portuguese playmaker is happy with his start in South Yorkshire.
"Each day is better, the lads have made me feel very welcome," he said. "Each game I feel more and more comfortable and my performance is getting better.
"I feel much more confidence and I am starting to get the idea of what the gaffer wants from me and I feel miles away from when I first came.
"It is fantastic to play with David Prutton , he is a top player. We hope to start together, but it is the gaffer's decision."
