Five-match ban for Dailly

Charlton captain Christian Dailly will miss the rest of the season through suspension after earning his third red card.

The veteran defender was sent off for violent conduct during the first half of Saturday's goalless draw at Oldham after reacting to a tackle by Rueben Reid. It was Dailly's third red card of the season so he has been hit with a five-match ban meaning he will sit out the Addicks' last five matches. "It's a real shame, he is our captain and our leader," said manager Chris Powell. "It's a shame we have to lose him in this way. He's been a stalwart this season for me, but it's happened now."
