Right-back concern for Parkinson ahead of Carlisle clash

Charlton Athletic boss Phil Parkinson is hoping to sign a right-back on loan before Saturday's game against Carlisle United. Frazer Richardson is struggling with a thigh problem and his natural replacement, youngster Chris Solly, has suffered a knee injury in training which required surgery. "Frazer has had a few knocks and I'd be surprised if he makes it," said Parkinson. "He's the kind of player who wants to play all the time but it might be a risk to play him. "Chris had an operation and he'll be out for three months so we're struggling a bit. "There's a possibility we could be getting someone in on loan before Carlisle and it's something we're working on now as we haven't got a right-back in the squad." Parkinson has already entered the loan market this week after bringing in Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme for a month following an injury to regular No.1 Rob Elliot.
