Striker tears abductor muscle tissue

Watford striker Grzegorz Rasiak has been ruled out for around a month with a groin injury. The Poland international was carried off on a stretcher during the win over Nottingham Forest last week and missed the 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend. And manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that the forward has torn abductor muscle tissue and will need a rehabilitation period, estimated in the region of four weeks. Rodgers said: "He actually tore his abductor, which is a tissue injury and needs time to heal and is part of the recovery process." If the diagnosis is correct, Rasiak could return for the 13th April trip to fellow Championship strugglers Norwich.
