Charlton Athletic have agreed an extension with Stoke City over Tom Soares' loan move.
Soares initially joined the Addicks last month, penning a one-month agreement with the Championship club.
After impressing boss Phil Parkinson, the midfielder is now set to remain at The Valley until 21st March, although Stoke can recall his services at 24 hours notice.
A statement on Charlton's official website added: "The Addicks will have the option to extend the loan for another month until the penultimate game of the season at Derby County on Saturday 25th April."
Soares has made five league appearances for Charlton - who lie bottom of the Championship table - since the switch, scoring one goal.
