Charlton are ready to let Izale McLeod leave the club on loan and former employers Milton Keynes Dons could be interested, skysports.com understands.
The 24-year-old joined The Addicks last year in a £1.1million deal from MK Dons.
But he is now down the pecking order under Alan Pardew, who is ready to let him get some playing time elsewhere.
McLeod finished last season on loan at Colchester and he is again believed to be looking for a Championship switch, although a high-ranking League One outfit could have a chance.
The likes of Nottingham Forest, Doncaster and another of his former clubs Derby, are being linked along with MK Dons.
