Charlton have completed the permanent signing of striker Andy Gray on a three-and-a-half year deal.
Gray initially moved to The Valley on loan last Friday so that he could play in the weekend Championship fixture at Watford but now the contract has been finalised and he will remain with the Addicks until 2011.
Charlton will pay Burnley an initial £1.5million for the forward with potentially a further £500,000 being paid depending on the club's future in the Premier League.
Debut
Gray, who has scored 13 goals for the Clarets this season, made his debut for Alan Pardew's team as a second-half substitute against Watford and could make his home debut against Stoke on Tuesday evening.
Gray made an immediate impact in the game with the Hornets as he came close to winning the match for them only to see his late header saved by Richard Lee.
Class
After the game boss Pardew said: "Andy is a class player. He linked us up in that last 20 minutes and that was a real boost.
"Chris Iwelumo did a great job for us, but Andy gives us something different, and I'm very pleased to have him. We've now got a very strong team," he told the club's website.
