Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Burnley striker Andy Gray for an initial fee of £1.5million.

"I'm delighted to be at Charlton."
Gray Quotes of the week

The Addicks agreed a fee with The Clarets for the 30-year-old's services on Friday after having their opening bid rejected earlier this week.

Gray had 11 Championship goals for Burnley this season including a brace in their 3-1 win at The Valley back in December.

Charlton have landed Gray on an emergency loan meaning he is available for their clash with Watford on Saturday evening ahead of making it a permanent deal next week.

Delighted

"I'm delighted to be at Charlton and it's great news that everything has gone through in time for Saturday's game," he told the club's official website.

"I'm at the stage of my career where the chance to go to a club that had been in the Premier League for a long time, and has a great chance of getting back there, couldn't be ignored.

"Everyone wants to play in the Premier League, it's where I want to play, and hopefully I can help the club get there."
