The 22-year-old's loan switch from Charlton is due to expire after Saturday's match at Leyton Orient.
However, having impressed in making 10 first-team appearances, Sinclair is eager to stay on at Whaddon Road.
"I want to do well for the team and help them get some more points on the board," he told the club's official website.
"I've had a word with Keith (Downing) and I don't think there is any problem at this end with another month.
"We just have to speak to Charlton to see what the situation is down there. We'll see what the feedback is but I don't think there will be a problem.
"I'd like to get a few more goals and I just want to help the team get some more points on the board and get up the league as quickly as possible."
