Cheltenham have signed Charlton's Dean Sinclair on an emergency month-long loan.
Sinclair only moved to The Valley in the summer from Barnet - but he is yet to make his league debut and has been allowed to move to Whaddon Road.
"We were interested in signing Dean at the end of last season," said Robins caretaker boss Keith Downing.
"He did very well for Barnet so we were not surprised that he got the move to a higher level with Charlton Athletic and that they paid a good fee for him.
"We're really grateful to Charlton for letting him out so that he can come and get some first team football with us for a month.
"Dean is a combative player who likes to get forward into the opposition box from midfield and can score goals. He is not frightened to compete and I am sure he will do well for us."
