Striker set for MK Dons exit
Charlton have agreed a fee with Milton Keynes Dons for Izale McLeod and the striker will now undergo a medical at The Valley.
McLeod was named as the League Two player of the season last year after scoring 24 goals for the Dons.
The 22-year-old forward joined the Dons from Derby and has found the back of the net 54 times in 105 starts since making the move.
However, McLeod handed in a transfer request after the Dons were defeated in the League Two play-off semi-final by Shrewsbury and he now looks set for the exit door.
McLeod, who is valued at £1.5million by the Dons, is set to be unveiled as a Charlton player on Thursday.
Charlton manager Alan Pardew has had a busy summer in the transfer market, having already recruited Luke Varney, Chris Iwelumo and Svetoslav Todorov, as he bids to build a strike force capable of firing the Addicks back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
